FORT WAYNE, IN – Design Collaborative is growing. The Design Collaborative team recently welcomed new mechanical engineer Camden Reece from Purdue Fort Wayne, along with electrical engineer Nicholas Biegel from Trine University.

Biegel started out as an intern for Design Collaborative in May of 2021 and is now a member of the team full-time.

As Design Collaborative continues to grow, team members like Reece and Biegel help the firm to serve its clients even better than before and create remarkable, people-first designs with more efficiency, creativity, and precision.

Design Collaborative also welcomed back three friendly faces to the team, with Bobby Beuchel (Architect) and Jessica Spindler (Interior Designer) re-joining the firm earlier this year, and Thad Berkes (Cost Estimator) starting back at Design Collaborative in the beginning of May.

Beuchel has a wide range of knowledge in architecture, specifically in the education market. Beuchel brings his expertise and witty personality to every project he works on, bringing out the best in both clients and the Design Collaborative team.

Spindler has worked as an interior designer for over 10 years and is passionate about designing spaces that are remarkable and client focused. She works with the Design Collaborative team from her home in South Carolina remotely, popping down to the Charlotte area in North Carolina on occasion to visit Kevin Scully at Design Collaborative's branch office.

Berkes brings a hugely valuable skillset to the firm in his role as cost estimator, especially in times such as this where costs are rapidly changing in short timeframes. Berkes works closely with the team to narrow down material costs and give clients a better idea of where their project budget will end up.

When asked about his role at Design Collaborative, Berkes said, “Many companies boast culture, but only a few discuss company atmosphere. Coming to work every day and sharing the excitement of loving what you do with others who feel the same is priceless.”

Design Collaborative staff said it's great to see new faces around the office, but it is also wonderful to welcome back friends and colleagues who are returning to the firm with a passion to design, create, and improve people's worlds.
