TAMPA, FL — Tim Devine, Jr., AIA, NCARB, has been named Federal Architecture Principal, where he will work to develop partnerships with clients, from the pursuit phase to project delivery, including programming, design, and construction close-out.

Devine supports the Southeast region, bringing more than 35 years of design expertise to his new role, spanning a mix of federal, health care, science, education, commercial, and energy sector experience. He is well-versed in alternative delivery methods including over 14 years delivering design-build projects across the country.

“I really enjoy competitive design-build pursuits where we get to innovate designs, evaluate construction costs, determine optimizations to reduce cost, provide better value, and create a design that the client chooses over our competition,” Devine said.

Devine also excels at the intersection of design and delivery, ensuring his teams meet delivery requirements for large, complex projects. "I am most passionate about design, construction, innovation, and professional development because they're all integrated," Devine said.

Devine was most recently Vice President, Director of Operations for ArchitecturePlus International api(+), a small award-winning Tampa retail design firm. He has also owned his own architectural services and construction company and has a patent for a modular panel construction system.
