Dewberry’s Scarce Promoted to Corporate Director of Marketing

DANVILLE, VA — Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, announces that Elizabeth Scarce has been promoted to Director of Marketing for the firm’s Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions, which span from Florida to Maryland. Combined, the two regions serve the marketing needs of more than 1,000 employees.
Scarce has been with Dewberry for 27 years and has served in a variety of marketing roles during her tenure. She recently served in the same role, but solely over the Southeast. With her additional responsibilities over the Mid-Atlantic, she will work closely with the regions’ Marketing Managers to align marketing efforts with the firm’s goals and objectives, foster a collaborative work environment among more than 30 offices and create best practices to maximize the teams’ efficiencies and effectiveness.
“I am thrilled to support Elizabeth in her new role as she continues to lead the marketing teams in two of our largest regions,” said Dewberry President Darren Conner, PE. “She has a proven track record of developing teams into collaborative structures.”
“Moving into this new role is a challenge I’m excited to take on,” Scarce said. “With our firm’s growth over the last five years, I anticipate these marketing teams growing as we seek to support the needs of our clients and the populations they serve.”
