DALLAS, TX — Chitra Foster joins Burns & McDonnell in Texas to expand the firm’s water services in the region. In her role, she delivers design-build water and wastewater solutions for municipalities, transportation, utilities, federal and industrial clients.

With more than two decades in the water sector, in the U.S. and internationally, Foster specializes in integrated engineering and construction project delivery, planning, design and technology.

Chitra joins the firm’s growing workforce in Texas, focused on providing integrated, cost-effective water infrastructure solutions with a focus on design, construction and project management using innovative technology and risk management techniques.

Chitra is a Professional Engineer, certified Design-Build Professional and an Envision Sustainability Professional. She received her master’s degree in environmental engineering from the University of North Carolina and a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Iowa.
