Holladay Sponsors Damar's Holiday Village

INDIANAPOLIS – Holladay Properties and Holladay Construction Group (Holladay) are once again teaming up in support of Damar Services, Inc. (Damar), a non-profit group in Indianapolis dedicated to providing a variety of programs and services to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities and their families. This time, the two firms are sponsoring Damar's Holiday Village, a free light display located in their new residential community, the Damar Village.

"We are very excited to continue our long-standing partnership with Damar through this newest sponsorship," said Chris Wilkes, SVP-Development for Holladay Properties. "We hope that families, friends, and the Damar Village residents take immense delight in the Holiday Village, and feel the same warmth and delight that the relationship with Damar has brought us."

Damar's Holiday Village is a dazzling display of lights that is open nightly to the public from December 1 through December 31, 2021. Visitors can drive through the Damar Village, located at 6055 Remarkable Way, to enjoy the lights, drop off letters to Santa, and spark their holiday spirit.

Holladay has been a proud supporter of Damar since 2009, when Holladay Properties donated 8 acres at AmeriPlex in Indianapolis to Damar's campus. Holladay Properties donated an additional 20 acres of land located adjacent to Damar's 46-acre campus at AmeriPlex to Damar in 2019. Holladay has also been a sponsor of Damar's annual golf outing, the Damar Cup, since its inception in 2010.

Not only has Holladay Properties donated land to support Damar's growth, the firm has also been a landlord to Damar since 2013. Damar occupies space in the Holladay Properties' owned-and-managed industrial facility at AmeriPlex in Indianapolis, the Mitchell Building. With such a long history, it is no wonder that Holladay Properties was named the Remarkable Corporate Partner at Damar's Difference Maker Awards Breakfast in 2019.

"It has been extremely satisfying to support the continued growth and success of Damar," Wilkes said. "We are honored to see the land that we helped them to acquire being put to such amazing use to offer services and programs that might not otherwise be available to Damar's clients."

Holladay Construction Group has also built multiple properties for the non-profit, including the Damar Village, which was completed this year. Holladay Construction Group also built Damar Building 4 SAT 2, a two-story, 23,500 square foot multi-use office and resident building in 2019.

"It has been a pleasure to work with Damar on the new Damar Village," said Billy Mattingly, Executive Vice President of Holladay Construction Group. "To see our new construction being put to this use, where everyone can enjoy it, is exciting and humbling.
