Indiana Furniture Awarded Grant to Help Stimulate Future Growth for Hoosier Operations.
JASPER, IN – Recently, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC), in partnership with Conexus Indiana, announced awards totaling $2 million to Hoosier businesses in Manufacturing Readiness Grants, which Indiana Governor Eric J. Holcomb first announced in May.
Indiana Furniture, along with 19 additional Hoosier businesses, received a grant to stimulate manufacturing investments amid COVID-19. These grants are part of the Economic Activity Stabilization and Enhancement (EASE) program designed to position Hoosier operations, and the sector overall, for future growth and prosperity.
“We're honored to be a part of this program and to assist in spurring growth for Indiana manufacturing and the Hoosier workforce,” said Chad Nord, VP of Operations for Indiana Furniture. “Today's announcement reinforces our commitment to invest in advancing manufacturing capabilities that support our long term strategy. We are investing in technology that will enable us to increase speed, reduce waste, enhance design capabilities, and expand our product offering within our seating operation.”
