Investments at the Space Coast Propel Expansion for Burns & McDonnell
MELBOURNE, FL — Supporting momentum generated by aerospace, defense, and space projects along with historical launches along Florida's Space Coast, Burns & McDonnell is opening a new 2,800-square-foot office in Melbourne, Florida. Burns & McDonnell employee-owners there will serve the firm's Southeast clients that work primarily in space facilities and aerospace manufacturing.
“The team of professionals that Burns & McDonnell is assembling in Melbourne will allow us to deliver solutions to our growing number of clients working on state-of-the-art aerospace, defense, and space projects,” said Richard Pruss, Southeast Regional Manager for the Global Facilities Group at Burns & McDonnell.
The office will start with about 10 employee-owners and several more job openings are posted for Burns & McDonnell in Melbourne. The firm plans to double the size of the team by next year and have at least 50 employee-owners in the office by 2025.
