Katz Named HNTB Oklahoma Practice Leader

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — Heidi Katz, PE, has been named HNTB Corporation’s Oklahoma Practice Leader. Katz has experience overseeing a variety of municipal, highway and tolling projects in Oklahoma. She is based in the firm’s Oklahoma City office.

Katz’s role includes overseeing delivery of technical excellence and innovative solutions for projects; growing a talented and diverse workforce; and generating profitable growth for the firm.

Katz leads HNTB’s multidisciplinary transportation professionals in Oklahoma who deliver highway, bridge, toll, public transit, aviation projects, program and construction management and other services to clients across the state, including Oklahoma Department of Transportation, Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, the City of Oklahoma City, the City of Tulsa and more.

“Heidi has a track record in Oklahoma of bringing people together and ensuring successful delivery on a variety of projects,” said Tim Morgan, PE, HNTB Vice President and Office Leader for the firm’s Central U.S. offices in Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas and Iowa.

Katz is active in a number of industry associations in Oklahoma and nationally, including serving as a board member for the Oklahoma chapter of Women’s Transportation Seminar. She is a graduate of the WTS International Transformative Mid-Level Leadership Class of 2018; the American Council of Engineering Companies Oklahoma Chapter – Leadership for Engineering Class of 2019; and member of the American Public Works Association.

Katz earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Missouri and a Bachelor of Arts in design arts from Drury University.
