HOUSTON, TX — McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. has hired Christian Annexy as Project Director for the Heavy Civil group. Annexy joins McCarthy with two decades of experience in Civil and Heavy Civil projects in Texas, ties to the local market and a depth of experience in the water and wastewater sectors.

McCarthy is actively wrapping up the City of Fort Worth CMAR Hemphill Connector project and launching two heavy rail projects in north Texas in January 2020. Annexy will provide oversight to these projects, as well as focusing on client relationships, personnel development and market sector growth throughout Texas.

McCarthy continues to invest in the expanding Civil Alternative delivery market in 2020, and the addition of Annexy will better position the company to pursue and capture these projects. He will serve as an integral team member and key resource in helping McCarthy continue to expand its market presence.

Annexy is a member of AWWA and TPWA and is involved with various industry organizations within Texas. Annexy earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Kansas and is completing a Master of Science in construction project management from Northwestern University.
