McCarthy Building Companies Promotes Adams to Project Director
PHOENIX, AZ — McCarthy Building Companies Inc. announces the promotion of Justin Adams to Project Director for the firm's health care group. During his 13 years at McCarthy, Adams' experience has spanned across multiple business sectors, including health care, higher education, K-12, municipal, and water.
In his new role as Project Director, Adams is tasked with overseeing all preconstruction and construction operations on projects, driving the preconstruction process, and making sure jobs are set up correctly while collaborating with project partners.
“Justin invested in McCarthy early in his career, and he's taken on every challenge that has come his way with experience in higher education, K-12, municipal, water, and now health care,” said McCarthy Executive Vice President Chris Nickle. “He brings an incredible level of professionalism and leadership to his project teams, in collaboration with clients, and within the community, and we're very fortunate to have him leading our partners in the field.”
Adams is currently leading the Mayo Clinic Vertical Velocity team, which is tasked with the vertical expansion of the east hospital tower valued at $145 million. He has spent all his career in the Southwest between Arizona and New Mexico and has a passion for projects in the health care industry. The special services group, which Adams oversees, completes roughly $10-$15 million in project revenue per year.
