Knight played a role in establishing McCownGordon as one of Kansas’ largest general contractors and is highly involved in driving the strategic mission of the company. He already serves on the Executive Board of the Greater Wichita Partnership and plans to engage actively in the business and civic community, furthering McCownGordon’s commitment to serving the communities where its employee owners live and work.

Knight brings more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry to the region. His management approach focuses on strategy, commitment, efficiency, and follow-through. He has led projects in a variety of market sectors, including health care, senior care, education, retail, corporate, mixed use, and hospitality. Knight is a LEED Accredited Professional, received training from the American Society of Healthcare Engineers, U.S. Green Building Council, and Dale Carnegie. He is a member of numerous chambers of commerce including Manhattan, Salina, and Topeka in addition to Wichita.
