PLYMOUTH, MI — The Associated General Contractors of Michigan (AGC of Michigan) announces the winners of the 2020 Build Michigan Awards, recognizing excellence in commercial construction throughout the state. Six projects and construction teams were bestowed awards during the AGC of Michigan’s Annual Meeting in Plymouth.
“The Build Michigan Awards represent the most outstanding commercial construction projects completed in our state each year,” said Eileen McCarthy, AGC Board Chair. “These projects help revitalize cities, improve our economy and contribute to our daily quality of life.”
The awards recognize commercial construction projects in the categories of building construction, construction management, design-build, federal/heavy and environmental. Awards also are considered for first time entries. Projects are judged on: meeting the challenge of a difficult job, excellence in project management, innovation in construction techniques, sensitivity to the environment, responsiveness to client needs and the contractor’s contribution to the community.
