NELSON Worldwide Promotes Arter and DeBuys to Co-Lead National Mixed-Use Practice

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Architecture, design, and strategy firm NELSON Worldwide announces that Eric Arter and Rhett DeBuys will serve as Co-Leaders for the firm's National Mixed-Use Practice. The two have a combined 50 years of experience in the industry.

Arter — based in the Cincinnati office — has been with NELSON for more than 20 years, most recently serving as Vice President within the Mixed-Use Practice for the past seven years. From 500,000-square-foot mixed-use developments, to shopping centers, hotels, and restaurants, Arter's experience spans several different markets. His client base includes Simon Property Group, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, Brookfield, Washington Prime Group, and more. Arter earned his bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Cincinnati.

Most recently serving as the Director of Global Architecture for Popeyes, DeBuys brings with him more than 30 years of experience and has performed on over 500 projects in new construction and renovation. DeBuys has been part of several of NELSON's mixed-use projects including The Battery Atlanta, Fenton, and Riverton. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Tulane University, and then went on to receive his master's degree in architecture.
