New Hilton-Branded Property to Add 219 Rooms to Rapid City Economy
RAPID CITY, SD — A major new Hilton-branded hospitality project will soon be added to the Rapid City, South Dakota, skyline adding 219 rooms to the local tourism-based economy. Owners, Chris-Bro Hospitality and construction manager, Consolidated Construction Company, broke ground on the new property just south of I-90 exit 59. The combination of Hilton’s spirited new TRU and high-quality Hampton Inn brands will provide a superior experience for Black Hills guests. The addition of more quality rooms will help bolster the local tourism economy.

“TRU is the new lifestyle brand for Hilton,” said Gene Schleusner, Project Leader with Consolidated Construction Company. “This unique dual-brand property is a model that has been gaining in popularity in other markets and offers guests a choice. They can choose a new value-based experience, or accommodations in at a property that has consistently proven to offer high quality. This property will be a great addition to the Rapid City hospitality industry.”
