O&G and Industrial Water Business Developer, Germenis, Joins McKim & Creed

HOUSTON, TX — McKim & Creed, an engineering, surveying, and design-build company, announces that Duane Germenis has joined the company as Regional Business Development Director. In this role, he will build client relationships and expand McKim & Creed's client base within the oil & gas and industrial water/wastewater industries in Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
Germenis began his career in the mid-1980s as a Wireline Engineer and Product Design Engineer for oil companies in South Texas. In the early 1990s he began focusing on the produced water market, which manages the water that is extracted from oil & gas reservoirs as a part of the oil & gas production process. He has been an active member of the Produced Water Society for 30 years and currently serves on the Technical Committee of that organization.
In addition, Germenis has worked on the Permian Basin Water in Energy Advisory Board since its inception in 2018. He was also recently elected as a Board Member of the Texas Water and Energy Institute at the University of Texas Permian Basin. He is a graduate of the University of Houston with a degree in mechanical engineering.
“Duane has a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience in the oil & gas industry, and his involvement with the produced water market in Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma is unparalleled. We are very happy to announce that Duane has joined the McKim & Creed team,” said Russ Huffmyer, Assistant Vice President and Project Director with McKim & Creed.
