Pape-Dawson Announces Seal as Vice President of Transportation in Austin Office

AUSTIN, TX — Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc. announces Dennis Seal, PE as a new Vice President in the Austin office. Seal will be responsible for leading the Austin transportation department, including strategic, technical, and production oversight.

With over 30 years of roadway and bridge design experience, Seal also complements Pape-Dawson’s transportation department with his management experience in the field. His background includes working with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), including seven years at the Childress District as the Area Engineer and as the District Construction and Maintenance Engineer. Dennis also has over 17 years of experience in the AE consulting field, including serving as Project Manager for more than 200 projects across Texas.

“Dennis’ smart approach to roadway and bridge design projects and his proven management capabilities are a great addition to our Austin office,” said Mark Ramseur, PE, Managing Principal Central Texas. “We are excited to grow our team, and Dennis’ TxDOT experience will further advance our strategic statewide transportation expansion, providing additional capabilities for our clients.”

Seal earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Texas, Arlington in 1988. He is a certified Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.
