Quinn Evans Expands Staff in Michigan
DETROIT, MI — Quinn Evans, an architecture and design firm, has expanded its staff in Detroit and Ann Arbor. The new employees will support the firm’s growing practice in architecture, planning, urban revitalization and infill, adaptive use, landscape architecture and historic preservation. Currently, the firm has close to 60 projects underway throughout Michigan, including the restoration of Michigan Central Station and nearly 20 additional projects in the Detroit metropolitan area.
Devan Anderson, RA, has joined the Detroit office as a Senior Architect and Project Manager. Anderson has 20 years of experience in programming, design, documentation and construction administration, and has overseen numerous renovation and revitalization projects throughout Michigan. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Detroit Mercy.
Edward Nakhle has joined the Detroit office as a Senior Designer. Nakhle holds a Master of Architecture and Urban Design from Kent State University, a Master of Architecture from Lawrence Technological University, a Bachelor of Science in architecture from Lawrence Technological University and a Bachelor of Applied Science with a concentration in civil and structural engineering from the University of Windsor.
Paul Royal, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has joined the Detroit office as a Construction Administrator. Royal will play a role in the firm’s restoration of Michigan Central Station. He holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Detroit Mercy.
Shelby Scharen, ASLA, has joined the Detroit office as a Landscape Architect. Her experience includes cultural landscape studies and plans for historic sites and parks throughout the country. Scharen holds a Master of Landscape Architecture and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado-Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from the University of Montana.
Rachel Pisano and Sara Timberlake have joined the Detroit office as Staff Designers. A Challenge Detroit Fellow, Pisano holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Detroit Mercy.
Timberlake holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in architectural studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Timberlake is a design fellow with the University of Michigan’s Michigan-Mellon Project on Egalitarianism and the Metropolis.
Addison Warren has joined the preservation planning team as Staff Landscape Designer in Quinn Evans’ Ann Arbor office. Warren holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
