“Shane has been instrumental to our success at Rockford,” said Mike VanGessel, CEO of Rockford Construction. “Looking toward our future and continued growth strategy, it was critical we have someone overseeing operations who not only understands the construction industry, but who is immersed in all aspects of our business, from design to development to property management.”
Napper will continue to serve as the President of Construction, while also assuming his new role as COO over all Rockford service groups. As COO, Napper will be tasked with driving collaboration, innovation, and integration of all Rockford services.

Napper began his career at Rockford more than 25 years ago. He has served in a variety of different capacities, including Superintendent, Project Manager, Director of Preconstruction, and Executive Vice President. Since he was named President of Construction in 2017, Napper has played an integral role in creating synergy among Rockford’s three groups: construction, development, and property management.
