Saunders Construction Announces Opening of New Downtown Denver Office

ENGLEWOOD, CO — Saunders Construction, Inc., announces the opening of a new corporate office, located in the lower downtown (LoDo) district of Denver, Colorado. Signifying its commitment to the Denver market, Saunders selected the historic Struby-Estabrook building for its LoDo office location and completed tenant improvement services for the space at the end of December.

Saunders will continue to manage its main operations out of its headquarters, located in Englewood, Colorado. However, some key business functions, including Saunders Commercial Development Company and the Healthcare Express Group, will hold a permanent residency at Saunders’ LoDo office. Saunders first opened a downtown office in 2015 to provide employees more convenience in work location and to better support business partnerships. The lease term on that office was up at the end of 2019, which allowed the company to find and design a space to fit its growing needs.

“Saunders has long had a presence in downtown Denver, and it’s important we maintain a space where we can support our surrounding construction projects and clients,” said Ryan Balakas, Saunders Vice President. “The Struby-Estabrook building offered the perfect location — allowing us greater access to our business partners in the area, while also creating a flexible workspace for Saunders employees who have meetings and business downtown.”

Saunders’ LoDo office is approximately 3,200 square feet and includes private workstations, huddle rooms, conference rooms, a co-working space and a breakroom. The design stays true to the Struby-Estabrook building’s storied history and features stone foundations, timber framing, steel columns and brick walls.
