Soubra Joins HDR as New Area Manager for Engineering

ANN ARBOR, MI — Khaled Soubra has joined HDR as Vice President and Area Manager for the firm's Michigan engineering practice, based in the Ann Arbor office. He succeeds Peter Guletsky, who recently retired. Prior to joining HDR, Soubra held positions of increasing responsibility with URS and later AECOM, most recently as Vice President and Operations Manager for the Buildings and Places business unit across the eastern Midwest region. Prior to that, he was Vice President and Operations Manager for URS in Michigan.
Soubra has more than 24 years of industry experience including transportation, architecture, environmental and water/wastewater. His operations experience includes developing strategic business plans to support growth, providing leadership and direction to optimize performance and collaborating on sales and marketing plans. He holds a Ph.D. in civil engineering from the University of Michigan.
