Sundt Foundation Donates to Valley Charities

TEMPE, AZ — The Sundt Foundation awarded over $95,000 in grants to 26 Phoenix, Arizona-area nonprofits during its fourth-quarter disbursements.

“Being able to donate nearly $100,000 to local charities in the Valley in our last quarter is very rewarding,” said Cathie Gabriel, the Sundt Foundation’s Tempe region Board Member. “We’re proud to support these organizations and help them achieve their mission.”

The Sundt Foundation awards grants each quarter to area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of Sundt employee-owners.

Fourth-quarter grants include:

$7,500 Grant Recipient

Maggie’s Place

$7,250 Grant Recipient

Inspire Music Service Hope, Inc.

$5,000 Grant Recipients

Duet Partners in Health and Aging, New Life Center, Shoebox Ministry, Aid to Adoption of Special Kids, Apollo Foundation Inc., Paz de Cristo Community Center, Matthew’s Crossing Food Bank, Central Arizona Shelter Services, ICAN: Positive Programs for Youth and Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona

$3,000 Grant Recipients

KEEN Phoenix and Christ Child Society of Phoenix

$2,500 Grant Recipients

Homeless Youth Connection, Inc., AZ Association for Foster & Adoptive Parents, TigerMountain Foundation, Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. and Arizonans for Children, Inc.

$2,000 Grant Recipients

TOA Charities/Shop With Your Cops and Sojourner Center

$1,500 Grant Recipient

Brighter Way Institute
