TWDB Approves $47.45M for Water and Wastewater System Projects
AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) approves financial assistance totaling $47,446,800 for water and wastewater system projects. Of this funding, $13,755,000 was approved for rural water projects.
• $760,000 to the City of Dickens (Dickens County) for water system improvements • $1,270,000 to the City of San Juan (Hidalgo County) for wastewater system improvements • $2,421,800 to the North Fort Bend Water Authority (Fort Bend and Harris counties) for a reclaimed water system • $30 million to the Sienna Plantation Municipal Utility District No. 1 (Fort Bend County) for wastewater system improvements • $990,000 to the City of Alba (Wood County) for wastewater system improvements • $1,235,000 to the Greater Texoma Utility Authority on behalf of the City of Paradise (Wise County) for water system improvements • $10,770,000 to the City of Elmendorf (Bexar County) for water system improvements
