AUSTIN, TX — Central Texas children will benefit from White Construction Company’s We Care Classic (WCC) Charity Golf Tournament. The tournament was held at the Avery Ranch Golf Club in Austin, Texas.

The event was a culmination of efforts spearheaded by WCC with 25 partners and friends. Since 2006, the biannual event has raised almost $1 million for children’s causes. One-hundred percent of the sponsors’ total $73,000 donations will go directly to this year’s benefactor, Helping Hand Home for Children in Austin.

Helping Hand Home for Children provides a safe haven for children healing from physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Helping Hand Home delivers a continuum of services, including therapeutic residential treatment, education at an on-site charter school, foster care, adoption, and family support programs.

“Helping Hand is a terrific organization. We are honored to support their mission of providing care for victimized children,” said Neel White, Chairman of White Construction Company.
