MUNCIE, IN – William Baker Company recently announced the creation of an endowed scholarship fund in the name of the William Baker Company at Ball State University’s Department of Construction Management and Interior Design. Scholarships from this endowment will be awarded each year to two college juniors majoring in the Construction Management Program.

Jim Baker, CSI, ICRI, President of WIlliam Baker company and advisory board member of the Construction Management Department at Ball State for several years, said he has seen exceptional results from the program in preparing young men and women to serve in the construction industry. For that reason, William Baker Company wants to give back and reward deserving, enthusiastic, creative, and positive-attitude individuals.

As a manufacturers’ representative for commercial construction products, William Baker Company feels that integration of products in today and tomorrow’s buildings need to have a collaboration of all parties in construction-related fields.
