WOODBURY, NY — D&B Engineers and Architects (D&B) welcomes Nick Winnie as a Senior Project Manager. Winnie, a Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) and a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, will oversee and manage the firm's environmental investigations, remediation, and compliance projects in New Jersey.

“Mr. Winnie's 16 years of practical, hands-on experience, numerous professional certifications, and environmental science education (Kings College, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania) make him an ideal leader to work with our multidisciplinary team of engineering and environmental professionals,” D&B Senior Vice President Rich Walka said. “His organizational, communication, and technical writing skills have been honed as Senior Project Manager/LSRP in commercial and industrial markets throughout New Jersey and New York, including Phase I and II Environmental due diligence site assessments, site characterization investigations, soil vapor investigations, and construction/remediation projects. We are extremely pleased to have Nick on board with our D&B Environmental Remediation/Compliance Practice Group.”

Winnie is an active member of numerous industry and professional organizations including the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey, the Licensed Site Remediation Professional, and the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management.

“Nick's skillset set is highly focused and adds deep capabilities to our team and resources," D&B's President Steve Fangmann said. "This will enable D&B to provide even more environmental and compliance project solutions that improve the physical environment and contribute to a better quality of life.”
