Definition:
A Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician—Level 1 is an individual who has obtained concurrent certifications as both ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician AND ACI Aggregate Testing Technician—Level 1.
Having obtained these certifications, this individual has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform, record, and report the results of a variety of laboratory procedures for concrete and aggregates.
Scope and Knowledge:
Certification as an ACI Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician—Level 1 demonstrates a working knowledge of the following ASTM and/or AASHTO practices and test methods:

Certification Requirements:
There is no actual examination or application process for ACI Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician—Level 1. Certification credentials will be automatically issued upon successfully obtaining concurrent certifications as both ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician AND ACI Aggregate Testing Technician—Level 1. Certification for Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician—Level 1 is valid for a period of five years from the date of completion of all certification requirements.
