Event Description
Underground construction by tunnel and micro-tunnel involves much different construction methods and has different risks than traditional cut and cover construction for water, sewer, stormwater and transportation infrastructure. This presentation will explore best practices for risk management on underground projects including use of a Geotechnical Data Report and Geotechnical Baseline Report, geotechnical instrumentation, risk registers and contract tools that help deliver projects on time and on budget and preserve relations between the Contractor, Engineer and the Owner.
