TAMPA, FL — Hoar Construction announces the promotion of Matt Valentine to Division Manager in its Florida Division, overseeing project management, preconstruction, and business development efforts for the company’s office in Tampa, Florida. He brings 15 years of experience in construction and will work to expand Hoar’s project and client base throughout the state.
Valentine joined Hoar in 2021 as a Project Executive and has since strengthened the company’s Florida health care platform while supporting strategic growth initiatives. His portfolio includes new hospital construction and expansions, freestanding emergency departments, medical office buildings, imaging and surgical suites, and behavioral health facilities for clients including AdventHealth, Orlando Health, Ascension, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
“Matt has played an instrumental role in expanding Hoar’s health care footprint across Florida, providing a sense of strong expertise and thoughtful collaboration to every project he manages,” said Michael Parks, Senior Vice President at Hoar. “His exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and deep understanding of Hoar’s culture and client-focused approach position him well to help oversee our growth in the state.”
As Division Manager, Valentine will be responsible for recruiting and developing talent, collaborating closely with owner representatives and design partners, and guiding projects from conceptual budgeting through construction completion.
“I’m honored to step into this role and continue building on the strong foundation our team has established across Florida,” Valentine said. “As we look ahead, my focus is on strengthening our partnerships, growing our team, and delivering high-quality projects that support clients and communities.”
