Parsons Welcomes House as Vice President and Western Regional Transit and Rail Manager

PASADENA, CA Parsons announces that Sunnie House joins the corporation as Vice President and Western Regional Transit and Rail Manager for the United States. In this role, House oversees western U.S. rail and transit project teams and business development strategy and manages projects from inception through completion.
House comes to Parsons with more than 33 years of transportation-related project experience. She has worked with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, California Department of Transportation districts in Southern California, San Bernardino County Transportation Authority, San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, the San Diego Association of Governments, the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation, and numerous other public agencies in Southern California, Southern Nevada, and Hawaii. She has served as the Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager for large design-build projects, bus rapid transit studies, transit rail studies and design, interchange reconstruction design projects, and airport development programs.

House participates in numerous professional organizations, including the California Transportation Foundation, the California chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies, and Women's Transportation Seminar in which she served as International President. She holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from California State University, Long Beach, and is a licensed professional engineer. She is based in Parsons' San Diego, California, office.
