SCRANTON, PA HDR has been selected as the owner's engineer for Rev LNG, which is building a small-scale liquefied natural gas facility near Scranton, Pennsylvania, in Bradford County in northeast Pennsylvania.

The facility will have 180,000 gallons of storage and a liquefaction capacity of 50,000 gallons per day. It will primarily supply LNG for fueling trucks but also for the energy exploration and production sector and eventually for marine customers.

HDR will be responsible for the overall project management and detailed engineering of the plant.

Rev LNG is a "well to wheel" distributor of liquefied natural gas. The company's headquarters is in Ulysses, Pennsylvania, with operations nationally.

With more than 40 years of experience engineering and designing LNG facilities, we've been at the helm of pioneering industry solutions. Our teams were involved with the first LNG peak shavers in the late 70s, the reactivation of Cove Point and Elba Island in the early 2000s, and even helped lead the development of emerging solutions for FLNG and FSRU.  Most recently our work includes ultra-efficient modular design for today's low cost LNG developments and reimagining traditional facilities to address new market demands like LNG as a transport fuel for the marine, rail and trucking industries.
