Skanska Hosts Women’s Power Breakfast

NASHVILLE, TN — Skanska USA recently hosted the 2016 Women’s Power Breakfast featuring a panel discussion on the multigenerational workforce and the changing face of Nashville, Tennessee, with female leaders from the local government, education and social services sectors.
In addition to the talk show-style panel discussion, the event featured a Q&A session and a presentation from Habitat for Humanity.
The Skanska Women’s Power Breakfast in Nashville consisted of a panel of local professionals: Kate Herman, Nashville Business Journal; Michelle Hernandez-Lane, Metro Nashville; Mekesha Montgomery, Frost Brown Todd; Mario Avila, Vanderbilt University; Dr. Susan West, Belmont University; and Dana Neal, Skanska.
The event was hosted by the Skanska Women’s Network. Created in 2013, the Skanska Women’s Network (SWN) is dedicated to providing women of Skanska USA opportunities for: professional development, new perspectives on professional and personal balance, visibility within the organization, mentoring, networking and connections to the entire organization, a sense of community, support and camaraderie, and positively impacting the organization as agents of change.
