Kaufman Lynn Construction To Be Honored At Boca Raton Mayors Ball

BOCA RATON, FL — Kaufman Lynn Construction, an award-winning full-service construction management and general contracting company, will be honored with a George Long Award by The Rotary Club Downtown Boca Raton, Florida. The award will be presented at the 3rd Annual Boca Raton Mayors Ball, a black-tie dinner/dance gala, which will be held at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. The annual event honors the city’s elected officials who exemplify Rotary International's motto “Service Above Self” and past and present visionaries who have positively impacted the community. It will raise funds to support the health and wellness needs of Boca Raton nonprofit organizations. 

“Kaufman Lynn construction is honored to receive the prestigious George Long Award from The Rotary Club Downtown Boca Raton,” said Michael Kaufman, President and CEO of Kaufman Lynn Construction. “Philanthropy and community involvement are an important part of our company culture and we encourage our team members to become personally invested in their communities by volunteering their time to coach, mentor, fundraise and serve on nonprofit boards.”

Since establishing itself as part of the community in 1989 with a mere team of 10, Kaufman Lynn Construction has grown into a multimillion dollar company, boasting 130 associates. With its growth, came even more significant opportunities to make a difference.

Today, Kaufman Lynn Construction is proud to support a variety of nonprofit organizations including the Tri-County Animal Rescue Shelter, the George Snow Scholarship Fund, Florida Atlantic University, Boca Helping Hands and Florence Fuller Child Development Centers. Kaufman is also a member of the Florida Council of 100, an organization of business leaders that serves as an advisory board to Florida’s governor.

The Boca Raton Mayors Ball will feature a red-carpet arrival and cocktail reception followed by a grand epicurean experience created by Boca Raton Resort & Club Executive Chef Andrew Roenbeck set amidst city-themed décor curated by the Boca Raton Historical Society and Museum. The celebrated evening will also feature live music by the Steve Chase Band in addition to the presentation of the George Long Awards, named for the City’s first appointed mayor in 1924.
