FVOP Promotes Lee to Safety Manager
GRAND BLANC, MI F&V Operations and Resource Management (FVOP) has promoted a long-time Treatment Plant Operator Brian Lee to Corporate Safety Manager.
"Brian's shown great knowledge and interest since joining our team," said Larry Fleis, PE, President of Fleis & VandenBrink. "We look forward to Brian expanding his role in the company and hope that he'll help us grow and improve our quality of service and maintain the high level of safety within our organization."
Since 2002, Lee has been assisting Metamora and Armada as an Operations Specialist operating the plants and performing maintenance work. He joined FVOP in 2011 in the transition from the previous company that operated the plants. FVOP is a subsidiary of F&V and provides operations and management services for municipal, industrial and environmental systems.
"I'm excited," said Lee, who is also a volunteer fireman for Arcadia Township. "I've been big on safety for a while."
As Safety Manager and Operations Specialist for various projects, Lee will be responsible for the management and oversight of FVOP's safety training program. He will be working out of F&V's Grand Blanc, Michigan, office.
"I enjoy doing this kind of work," said Lee. "I like the public service aspect of it and keeping the water running and the sewer flowing."
