Creighton and Hanpeter Join Barton Malow Company as Lean Leaders
SOUTHFIELD, MI Barton Malow Company announces that Jeffery Creighton and Bradley Hanpeter have joined the Barton Malow team as Lean Leaders. In their roles, they will focus on developing and implementing Lean construction solutions as well as improving operational and financial outcomes through the application of process excellence principals.
Creighton's 22-year career began in project delivery with roles as a journeyman ironworker and foreman with Ironworkers Local #25 as well as project management before transitioning to benchmarking and Lean construction management. Previously, as Benchmarking & Lean Manager, Creighton focused on promoting Lean construction and management initiatives for project delivery teams to continuously drive best-in-class project performance.
"Jeff's project delivery experience coupled with his talents to manage and analyze lean metrics across the entire company will help Barton Malow increase project performance and leverage our competitive strategies," said Alex Ivanikiw, Senior Vice President. "He will be an asset as a subject matter expert in process improvement, Lean fundamentals and application."
Creighton holds a Master of Business Administration in global leadership and management from Lawrence Technological University, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Davenport University and is a journeyman ironworker and certified welder. Creighton is a resident of Keego Harbor, Michigan.
Hanpeter has over 30 years of experience in leading teams to drive results using process excellence, continuous improvement and lean systems within an organization. His broad base of experience includes leadership of lean/quality teams in the design and implementation of process solutions as well as championing numerous improvement efforts utilizing Lean, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Value Engineering/Value Analysis, and other improvement methodologies.

Hanpeter holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research/Industrial Engineering from Cornell University. He is an active member of the Michigan Lean Consortium and a certified Six Sigma Green Belt from the Juran Institute. Hanpeter is a resident of Farmington Hills, Michigan.
