GMB Honored with Two AIA Awards

GRAND RAPIDS, MI GMB Architects is honored to have been recognized with two awards by the Grand Rapids, Michigan, chapter of the American Institute of Architects at their annual Honor Awards Gala.
GMB was presented with the 2016 Firm Achievement Award, an award that acknowledges continued leadership and contributions to both the architectural profession and the community.
GMB also received an Honor Award in the unbuilt category for the ShearHouse project. ShearHouse was conceived as a prototype to address the "Missing Middle," a series of housing typologies providing walkable, urban living that bridges the gap between suburban, detached homes and dense urban living and commercial development.
