Builders Exchange Announces the 2016 Awards of Excellence Recipients and 2017 Board Members
DETROIT, MI The 10th Annual Awards of Excellence in Construction Banquet will honor twelve commercial construction projects. The following companies and their projects are receiving one of the coveted glass trophies: BTB Glass and the Carmike Theatre; Team Bob's and their work at Bonobo Winery; Image360 and the Interior Rebranding for all 4Front Credit Union locations; D&W Mechanical and the new Munson Cancer Center; Burdco Construction for OMH Medical - Indian River; Grand Traverse Construction for the Emmet County Headlands Observatory, the TBA ISD AWC Addition, and the RJG Building; Windemuller Electric for their work at Mari Vineyards - New Winery; Floor Covering Brokers and the Munson Cancer Center; and Team Elmer's for their new construction of the Pine Street Pedestrian Bridge and reconstruction of Garland Street.
These projects, all located in Grand Traverse, Emmet and Otsego Counties account for more than $35 million dollars in construction and will be recognized at the 2016 Annual Awards Banquet, which will be held on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, at the Traverse City Golf and Country Club.
The Builders Exchange of Northwest Michigan also has elected new board members to round out the 2017 Board of Directors. Charlie Sole (Hallmark Construction); Jim Winter (Spence Bros.) and Patrick Harrison (Team Bob's Heating & Cooling) have joined Jack Ocobock (D&W Mechanical); Darek Purgiel (Grand Traverse Construction); Keely Trombly (Interphase Interiors); Mike Trippe (Bouma Corp); Jerry DeMann (MacAllister Rentals) and Jason Bloxsom (Bloxsom Roofing), to serve for 2017.
