OMAHA, NE Each year as the cheers fade from the season's final game, Nebraska Cornhusker fans start looking forward to the kickoff of the next college football schedule. Husker fans take football seriously - and tailgating is a big part of the football tradition.

NMC Cat and NMC - The Cat Rental Store were on the front line of the tailgating scene once again this year. Tailgate guests were thankful for the air-conditioned hospitality area on the muggy, late summer afternoon. Sitting less than 1,000 feet from Memorial Stadium with several flat screens tuned into the action on the field - tailgate guests enjoyed good food and cool drinks while they cheered on the Huskers for the season opener against the BYU Cougars. And if that wasn't enough, Jim Casey and his band were on hand to entertain the crowd with live music.

With no time left on the clock and a 42-yard Hail Mary pass that most Husker fans will have nightmares about, the Cougars walked off Tom Osborne Field with a 33 - 28 win over the Huskers.

NMC Cat and NMC - The Cat Rental Store will be back as more home game tailgate events are planned for the 2015 Cornhusker season. They've also teamed up with various local associations for each party, including the Land Improvement Contractors of America, the Associated General Contractors, Commonwealth Electric, the Associated General Contractor Nebraska Chapter and the National Utility Contractors Association.

Despite the fact that the first game of the 2015 football season was a disappointment to the fans in red - the NMC tailgate will continue to score wins with its guests.
