Stanley Consultants' history of supporting the U.S. Air Force through engineering and design reaches back to 1942 with the design of an Army Air Corps Technical School at Sioux Falls, South Dakota. That project consisted of three runways, taxiways, aprons, housing, and instruction facilities to support the war effort.
Recent projects completed have ranged from preliminary studies to installation master plans for new mission beddowns and full MILCON design. Recent examples include design of a new space operations facility at Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado; an installation development plan for Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates; and an F-16 flight simulator facility for Aviano Air Base in Italy.
