Nebraska Office Announces Staff Additions

OMAHA, NE Wilson & Company adds two Engineer Interns to their Omaha, Nebraska, operations group.
"These additions to our Omaha [operations group] enhance the services we provide to clients in the areas of transportation design," said Matt Bryant, Omaha Transportation Lead. "We're excited to have Anthony and Michael on our growing team."
Anthony Cameli and Michael Steffensmeier assist the Wilson & Company team with roadway design, including culverts, hydrology and hydraulics, guardrail, plan production, and quantity calculations. They use MicroStation, AutoCAD, and HEC RAS, and have demonstrated that they are capable of learning new applications quickly and contribute to the team's successful project delivery.
Both have their bachelor of science degrees in civil engineering from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.
Since joining Wilson & Company, Cameli has served as an Engineer Intern on roadway projects in Nebraska and Kansas. While a student at UNL, he was the Vice President of Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Student Chapter. He was also on the Dean's List, and received the Sorkin and John H.D. Davis, PE, Memorial Scholarships.
While at UNL, Steffensmeier was a Design Intern at the Nebraska Department of Roads (NDOR), and gained experience in storm water analysis and design, roadway design, and calculated quantities and cost estimates. He was active in the ITE Student Chapter (President) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Student Chapter (Treasurer). He was a UNL College of Engineering Ambassador and Peer Mentor.
