BOSTON, MA Kaplan Construction, a WBE general contractor and construction management firm providing comprehensive building programs across greater Boston, Massachusetts, announces that its COO, Jane Kaplan Peck, has been named one of the 2016 Women in Construction by the editorial board Constructech Magazine. Kaplan Peck was one of 38 honorees selected based on their ability to go far beyond their own roles to instill changes in both their company's technology and the industry as a whole.

"Each of these women has stepped up to the plate to undertake some of the world's biggest projects," said Peggy Smedley, Editorial Director of Constructech Magazine. "With their willingness to take these challenges head on, they have raised the bar significantly on what women can achieve in construction."

Submissions were made by colleagues, bosses and peers to highlight women who have integrated new technology to improve the quality of work. Kaplan Construction provides all superintendents, project managers and support staff with iPads loaded with Procore, a cloud-based construction management software application that allows team members to collaborate on projects, including all project communication, drawings, and documentation.
