Legg to Offer Expertise to WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff Clients

SEATTLE, WA Bill Legg has been named a Senior Principal in the Seattle, Washington, office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.
In his new position, Legg will provide leadership on intelligent transportation systems (ITS) operations engineering for local traffic projects and serve as a national resource on ITS and connected and automated vehicle technology.
Legg has 34 years of experience in ITS operations engineering, program management, traffic engineering and traffic operations design. His expertise includes government operations, project and program management, traffic and system operations, transportation research, transportation technology, and performance reporting to support complex, coordinated large-scale operations programs. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was the state ITS operations engineer for the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Legg earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Colorado State University. Among his professional affiliations, he supports the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials through his work with the Vehicle-to-Infrastructure Deployment Coalition (V2I DC). He is a participant in several research and committee efforts led by the Transportation Research Board and the National Cooperative Highway Research Program, and he is active in ITS America and ITS Canada.
