The Montrose Regional Airport is a commercial service airport that serves mountain communities, including Telluride and Montrose, Colorado. All general aviation operations reside at Hopkins Field Airport.
Both airports are recognized as economic engines, business centers, and transportation hubs. In order to successfully leverage future business opportunities, Montrose County is initiating a strategic planning and development approach to evolve the regional links to the global supply chain.
The key issues that will be addressed during the initial Master Plan Update for the Montrose Regional Airport include:
Improved Airport Access and Wayfinding
Auto Parking Capacity
Terminal Expansion
Fixed Base Operator (FBO) Development
Airfield Improvements
Land Acquisition and Boundary Survey
CH2M is looking forward to supporting the Montrose County airports, alongside key teaming partner Corgan Associates - a nationally known Airport Terminal Architecture group.
