Noble Accepted into AIA Colorado Leadership Program
DENVER, CO Abigail Noble, Architectural Coordinator in HDR' Denver, Colorado, architecture studio, is one of only 16 emerging professionals to be accepted into AIA Colorado' Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program.
A yearlong program, its intention is to train and develop the next generation of architectural leaders. Monthly sessions focus on core professional skills such as entrepreneurship and firm management, teamwork and collaboration, negotiation skills, client development, community leadership, understanding industry trends and developing your future within the practice.
Christopher Kelley, who died in 2012 at the age of 39, was an active member of the AIA as the first regional associates director from the Florida and Caribbean region for the AIA's National Associates Committee. He also helped lead the Young Architects Forum as chairman in 2009. AIA Colorado is the first branch outside of Washington, D.C. to offer the program, and chapter leaders are looking forward to a busy inaugural year.
"As I've gradually taken on leadership roles internally with HDR, I'm excited to explore finding my leadership voice externally and to begin to connect with the larger architectural network here in Colorado," said Noble. "This is an exciting opportunity for me to grow as a leader and represent HDR."
