Trueba Joins FortÃ© Specialty Contractors' Senior Leadership Team
LAS VEGAS, NV FortÃ© Specialty Contractors announces Kimberly J. Trueba has been appointed to the firm's senior leadership team. Trueba joins FortÃ© with significant experience in design, development and construction for the hospitality, restaurant, theme park and residential real estate industries. She is based in the company's Las Vegas, Nevada, headquarters.
Trueba's expertise in design and leadership will aid in the expansion of FortÃ©'s existing design-build practice. Trueba will work with FortÃ©'s team of more than 120 professionals comprising builders, architects, engineers, project managers and artists to further develop the processes and procedures already in place in order to respond to today's diverse client needs.

Throughout her career, Trueba has lead projects in more than eight countries, fostered career-long relationships with numerous owners and developers, hotel executives, contractors, architects and designers, and has been responsible for directing the design and management teams for a number of highly acclaimed projects, including Wolfgang Puck's restaurant, CUT, at the Palazzo in Las Vegas; Four Seasons Manele Bay in Lanai, Hawaii; and Carthay Circle Restaurant at Disney's California Adventure in Anaheim, California. In addition, Trueba's greatest reward has been contributing to the career growth of young professionals.
Prior to joining FortÃ©, Trueba co-founded TAL Studio, where she spent 17 years as Managing Principal responsible for leading the company's project delivery process, in addition to overseeing business operations, business development and client relations efforts. She also served as a mentor to the firm's architecture, interior design and management staff. Trueba started her career at Disney Development Company and Walt Disney Imagineering, managing the creative and technical talent for hotel, retail and food and beverage projects for 10 years. She has also served as a leader in working with international hospitality clients and hoteliers, such as Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Wynn Resorts.

Trueba earned her bachelor's degree in interior architecture from Kansas State University. She is a registered interior designer in Nevada, and a board member of Easter Seals Nevadaand BLVDS Las Vegas, and a member of NEWH, YPO Las Vegas and the National Charity League (NCL).
