INDIANAPOLIS, IN BSA LifeStructures, a nationally recognized architecture and engineering firm, has hired Vicki Mettlach, RN, as Senior Healthcare Operations Planner. Based out of the firm's Denver, Colorado, office, Mettlach will contribute her expertise to the development of healthcare facility design that supports evidence-based clinical outcomes.

"I am excited to join the BSA LifeStructures team, and I look forward to ensuring that the care delivery model is successfully incorporated into the planning and design for our clients," said Mettlach.

Previously a project manager and director of quality resources and professional services for Castle Rock Adventist Health Campus/Centura Health, Vicki provides state-of-the-art clinical and hospital operations insight and guidance for healthcare projects. She has implemented risk reduction strategies and LEAN performance improvement initiatives, while increasing patient satisfaction and adhering to corporate benchmarks and regulatory compliance.

"We are looking to Vicki to use her leadership and knowledge to establish efficient and effective healthcare processes, not only for our Denver clients, but nationally," said Josh Halon, BSA LifeStructures' Director of Healthcare Planning. "Having worked on the clinical operations side, Vicki understands how to work with the healthcare team to design hospital operational plans that accommodate process and policy development."

Mettlach earned an Associate Degree in nursing from Albuquerque Technical Institute and a Master of Business Administration in healthcare administration from the University of Phoenix, and has also completed a Chief Nursing Officer residency program.
