Morgan / Harbour Completes New Retail Bank Center for Evergreen Bank in Hinsdale
WOODRIDGE, IL Morgan / Harbour Construction (MHC) announces that the firm has completed a 11,186-square-foot interior build-out for Evergreen Bank Group in Hinsdale, Illinois.
Evergreen Bank Group is a locally owned and managed full-service Illinois State chartered commercial bank, focused on the relationships they build with both personal and business clients, and also the communities in which they serve. The firm hired Morgan / Harbour to complete the dynamic interior build-out for its new Retail Bank Center in the upscale Grant Square shopping center in Hinsdale. This was the third branch project constructed by Morgan / Harbour for Evergreen Bank Group, with the previous two located in Evergreen Park and Oak Brook.
Morgan / Harbour provided design-build services for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing components. The project also included a separate drive-thru bank facility within the center. Natural finishes are showcased throughout including an abundance of wood, glass, metal and stone. Porcelain tiles with a wood look define the main traffic areas, while patterned carpet tiles are artfully placed in the business spaces. Conference rooms and offices offer full visibility through floor-to-ceiling glass walls and pendant light fixtures hang above the teller tower, relax area and Evergreen Coffee House to add interest. A vintage bank vault is also prominently displayed against a wood-clad wall in the main service area. A Community Room is available to the public for meeting space while unique amenities include a complimentary professional shoe shine station, "The Vault" golf simulator, an internet work coffeehouse, and a Discovery Area with large-screen interactive kiosk to learn about the bank's products and services.
Morgan / Harbour's construction team included Executive Vice President/Partner Ben Warriner as Project Executive, Senior Project Manager/Team Leader Andy MacMillan and Project Superintendent Tom Sawa. Interplan, LLC in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, provided the architectural design services. The community bank also worked with DBSI, Inc. out of Chandler, Arizona, to develop a design and strategic customer experience that breaks the typical mold in branch transformation. Every element was thoughtfully planned to achieve a specific objective.
