MYCON General Contractors Breaks Ground on New Headquarters for Interceramic
MCKINNEY, TX MYCON General Contractors has broken ground on the new 330,000-square-foot headquarters building for Interceramic, a manufacturer and distributor of ceramic tile and natural stone in North America, according to John Riggins, MYCON's Vice President of Office and Industrial Services.
Located off the southwest corner of Parker Road and Plano Parkway at 1950 East Parker Road in Carrollton, Texas, the new $11.3 million build-to-suit facility will include both office and warehouse space and will feature curtain wall glass with exposed steel canopy entries and wood "look" tile accents around the exterior. The warehouse will be in a cross dock configuration, including 6 full-length truck wells for covered loading, storage and parking. Says Riggins, "We are pleased to have been selected for this fast-track, new construction project. Interceramic's move to Austin Ranch, Billingsley's 1,700-acre master-planned development, is an outstanding, high-growth location for doing business."
The owner is Billingsley with Pritchard Associates as Project Manager. AZIMUTH Architecture is the architect for the new headquarters.
Completion is slated for the fall of this year.
