Sundt Adds Staff in El Paso to Support Recent Growth in the Region
EL PASO, TX To support the company's recent growth in the region, Sundt Construction, Inc. adds Project Engineer Mike Dominguez, Jr. and Field Superintendents Dan Norton, Jesus Rivera, and Enrique Espalin to its El Paso, Texas, team.
Dan Norton, Field Superintendent
Norton, an industry veteran of more than 30 years, joins the team constructing and renovating several high-rise residential communities for the Housing Authority of El Paso. His extensive background in residential construction will play a major role in the team's success, as he will oversee much of the field operations for the remodeling of an eight-story apartment facility known as the Father Pinto building. In an addition to his work experience, Norton is a former Marine with the United States Marine Corps and a member of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).
Enrique Espalian, Field Superintendent
Espalin comes to Sundt after spending eight years in project development and engineering with New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Espalin has held many roles throughout his 17-year career, including project superintendent and assistant director of projects. He joins the team performing work on the Las Cruces High School Phase II project, where he will be responsible for scheduling, planning, project safety and coordination of subcontractor trades. Espalin is a Certified Master Project Manager with the Project Management Resource Group, Inc.
Jesus Rivera, Field Superintendent
Rivera has spent eight years in the construction industry and has valuable experience constructing urban highways, bridges, and wet utility and storm drainages. His expertise includes design-build delivery, quality control, quality assurance, construction management and estimating. Rivera immediately joins the team constructing the 911 Regional Communications Center in El Paso. He has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas, El Paso.
Mike Dominguez, Jr., Project Engineer
Dominguez brings with him more than seven years of experience in supervising construction projects and field surveying activities. He also joins the team constructing the 911 Regional Commutations Center in El Paso and will work closely with the project superintendents on procurement, forecasting, contracts, scheduling, estimating, drawings, submittals, requests for information and change orders.
