Braud Logs On as New CIO

DALLAS, TX Durel Braud has worked in the IT department at Turner Industries for 17 years. Hired as a Business Systems Analyst, he has worked his way up through the ranks to the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO). Braud has seen Turner come a long way in terms of technology. Mobile and cloud-based services are not only changing the business landscape but also the way Turner is able to offer its services to its clients. As the new CIO, his plate is full with new and challenging projects, one of the most critical being the upgrade of Turners' business management software to EntrepriseOne®.
"We've begun our JD Edwards upgrade project, codenamed "˜Mission to Transition.' While our current system has served the business well for many years, it's approaching its end-of-life. Oracle's EnterpriseOne® will be robust, flexible and should serve Turner well for the next 20 years or more. It will take a strong team to complete a successful transition, but I've seen the dedication of our employees in the past, and I have total confidence that together we will make this another Turner success story," said Braud. "We will also continue to support and deliver new technology systems to assist the business units in meeting their goals and objectives, delivering solutions that save time and money."
"Durel and our IT leadership not only understand how to combine what we do in the field with great uses of technology, but they know how to keep it working for us," said Stephen Toups Executive Vice President and past CIO. "As we look toward a time of integrating and working with our new EnterpriseOne® software, this is the perfect time to have him at the helm."
Toups has been named Executive Vice President and will work closely with operations while continuing to offer support to all functions, including information technology. Taking over Toups' business development responsibilities is Tobie Craig, who has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
