MAI Announces Director of Engineering Hire

SAN ANTONIO, TX Maestas & Associates, Inc. (MAI) introduces Erika "Rikki" Anderson, PE, PMP, as MAI's new Director of Engineering. Anderson will be responsible for supervising and overseeing all engineering design personnel. She will assist firm executives with establishing and nurturing partnerships with new and existing clients. 

"We are excited to have someone with Rikki's exceptional water and wastewater background and knowledge on our team," said Ernest Maestas, PE, President of MAI. 

She brings to MAI more than 15 years of civil engineering project management and design experience including four years as a project manager with the San Antonio Water System. She has worked on large public sector multimillion-dollar capital improvement water and wastewater projects.

"Rikki is a huge asset to the future of our firm," Maestas said. "She will play a vital role in key strategic and tactical business development efforts moving forward."  

Anderson is a licensed Professional Engineer with the State of Texas and a certified Project Management Professional. She attended Texas Tech University where she received her Bachelors of Science Degree in civil engineering.
